"My-ami" My City
For Miami residents, there really is nothing better than a boat day. Aside from the prettiest views and of course the fun atmosphere, a boat day highlights your natural beauty. It's the perfect blow dry and great for natural blush. I love anything that has to do with the water and sun, together they have played a role in my most treasured memories. Laying out on the top of boat with a beautiful view, simple right? Simply bliss. Not to mention, I get to wear the cutest stuff to keep up my "boater's look" ;). A sheer flowy top is my favorite kind of boat day cover up, especially when I'm working with all that wind.

Summer Time Knit?
Who says you can't wear knit in the summer time? It's never too hot for a knit top that gives an outfit that cute and "comfy" or "oh this old thing?" look. Personally, I love turning one of my light knit sweaters from the fall into a bathing suit cover up in the summer. It gives your bathing suit the perfect touch of "beach bum." With salt water exfoliation, wavy hair, glowing skin, and of course a sand pedicure the beach is the perfect place to feel naturally beautiful and comfortable in your own skin. After a day of pampering myself in nature's spa, the idea of a simple knit sweater against my freshly tanned skin couldn't sound more enticing.

Every Girl Needs a Red Dress
I love love love this Lucca Couture Chiffon Daisy Dress from Urban Outfitters. It transitions from a more fitted top to a loose flare at the bottom, definitely tempts me to twirl around. I love the mix of a fun silhouette and color with a more mature pattern- it gives off a modern yet vintage look.

Refreshed
Before coming to New York City and participating in an FIT Precollege fashion journalism workshop, the idea of becoming independent (well...somewhat independent) seemed overwhelming and heart-dropping scary. To be honest, I still am scared but in a good way. Sitting in a class with young girls just like me, learning about different fashion careers and getting perspectives from successful women experienced in the industry, I have become much more confident in myself and my ambitions. I can't believe I'm about to enter my LAST year of high school, it's bitter-sweet, you know? But then again...no one could appreciate the sweet if there wasn't any bitter. I'm excited. I'm excited to end a chapter, to make my parents proud as I flip my tassel from one side to the other, and I'm excited to just figure it out on my own. "It" being my life, wow that feels good.
